As a kid growing up, I used to just think about ‘cool.’</p> <p>I used to loop the <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUzSV72jDsM" target="_blank">song</a>s Bamboo sang. I didn’t know much about what he went through back then. I would occasionally get to photograph him while he performed on stage much later, like what is seen above. I never expected today would come.</p> <p>The artists I used to listen to as a kid seem to echo what I believe in about work. I’ve met and encountered two of them now. It is an exhilarating thought. Was it fate that I gravitated to them when I was younger?</p> <p>I am the odd one. My excitement does not come from hearing my favorite musicians perform my favorite songs on stage because I could always listen to those songs privately. It comes from hearing them talk about what they went through to be where they are now.
