You know you’ve made it when someone tells you that she wants to see you grow at what you’re doing.
You know you’ve made it when someone tells you that she wishes other people were like you.
You know you’ve made it when someone shows you that he trusts you even if he doesn’t have much to go on.
You know you’ve made it when you have a reason to wake up each morning.
The point? I stopped waiting for results to happen. The words I say and write affect the actions I do. I started expressing my thoughts and I’ve grown because of it.
I believe it is unwise to base progress on achievement. It’s not so much about having made it but it’s precisely about doing. If I keep on doing what I feel is right, then I don’t have to worry about the result. That way, I can continue on after every failure.
Lasting joy is a result of being thankful. More importantly, being thankful is a result of making the most of out of all circumstances.
