Heb 11:6
“Show it for what it is,” said Tricia when I told her that I never expected the river to be littered with trash.
So many times, we hide our imperfections under false pretensions. Could it be that we are lying to ourselves every time we do? So many times, we shrug them off when people point them out. Could it be that the worst part is when we defend them?
Those less-than-perfect things make us who we are. They are there to remind us that we can do better. Whatever all these imperfections are, I am thankful that we are alive today to consider turning our lives around.
There’s nothing more colorful than a new day.
