Heb 11:6
If life were just a series of staircases, it would be tedious but predictable. We really all want that secret path to just light up for us. I am no exception.
Sometimes, I wish it were as easy as putting a key through a lock. Turn the key, then the door unlocks. It is but a simple matter to step in.
Who am I fooling? I know it takes more than that. It takes blood to make life count. It takes faith to step into the darkness. There’s no glory when there are no battles fought. Win or lose, we learn from them either way.
Today marks another year of my existence. It won’t be any different. It will be another year of wading through dark swamps. Deep inside, I know it will be worth it all.
